It is the largest Overseas Pakistani investor in the local economy with investments in excess of US$ 1.0 billion. It is the 3rd largest Textile producer in Pakistan. The Group jointly owns Pakistan’s 2nd largest private bank. Its global workforce is an impressive 30000 people spread across the four corners of the globe.
In October 2006 Dr Imran Ahmad was chosen as the ‘Master Entrepreneur – UK’ at the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2006 Awards. The Award recognises those individuals who have made a sustained contribution to the success of multiple businesses over a period of more than ten years.
